SPEAKERS
We will begin with an inspiring film called La Cumbre, that will show us that it's the spirit within that helps us summit mountains.
This will transition us into our first speaker, Andreane Lanthier Nadeau (ALN), who will speak to us about building a sense of strength within the body. ALN will then lead us into our first session with our facilitators.
Next, we will get to hear from Farinaz Lari, who will bridge the gap between developing agency within into advocacy work. Then again, she'll lead us into our session.
Finally, we'll end with Lotte Davis, who will speak to us about creating conscious change in the world with the confidence she's developed and helps girls in Africa develop too through One Girl Can. Lotte will lead us into our final facilitated session.
We wrap with a locally-created film that may move you to tears as you may see yourself in the womxn and girls you see on screen.
From 5-6pm we will gather in community, keep the good vibes going and talk about how we can not only change our own lives for the better, but hopefully some others too!

WOMEN YOU WON'T SEE ON TV
A short film that’s a celebration of all the women you won't see on TV: the women who won’t go on to the olympics or break world records, but who enjoy being physically active in their own individual way.
Girls who are physically active are more likely to succeed. People are more likely to follow in the footsteps of someone who looks like them. Because of this, we feature a range of ages, bodies and backgrounds - embodying a realistic wide spectrum that can be found in sport.

MORE QUESTIONS?
THIS IS ELIZABETH
In the fall of 2018, we wanted to get behind Lotte Davis' organization called One Girl Can.
At our fall festival we raised enough money to get Elizabeth through a year of university in Kenya. At the time, Elizabeth was an unknown young woman to us, but since then, I've have the pleasure of communicating with Elizabeth through One Girl Can and have come to know how motivated and inspiring she is.
Elizabeth is a determined university student working towards a BSC in Agribusiness Management and Enterprise at South Eastern University in Kenya. She's driven to complete the cycle of empowerment and mentorship by leading other young girls in her community.
Despite coming from a poor background, "she was able to overcome all odds and excel in her academic work. She is disciplined, hardworking, self-driven and focused," said her high school principal.
With your help, we will ensure Elizabeth's tuition and living expenses are paid for the 2020 school year!
