Caitlin is on staff at Harbour Dance Centre. She is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and teaches ballet, pointe, contemporary dance, injury prevention and improvisation. Since 2016 Caitlin has been an artist with the Margie Gillis Dance Foundation: Legacy Project Company under the direction of Officer of the Order of Canada, Margie Gillis. Farinaz picked up kickboxing at the age of 18, while studying applied mathematics in university. She began competing shortly after learning kickboxing and in only a few years managed to become the first Iranian and Canadian woman ever to win the WAKO world kickboxing championship (Brazil, 2013).

Andréane Lanthier Nadeau

Mountain Biking Lead Rider

Andréane Lanthier Nadeau, or ALN as we know her, is not new to the sport of mountain biking. This phenom is now 25 years-old, but she’s been crushing it on a bike since her teens where she put in many great results over the years on the Cross-Country circuit as a junior, U23, and elite. But, it was her love for trail riding and an obvious talent for riding technical terrain combined with carrying speed that brought her curiosity to enduro.

Debora De Napoli is an adventure documentary filmmaker, public speaker, yoga teacher, and advocate.

 

In 2013, Debora embarked on a mountain bike journey across the summits of the Canadian Rockies to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. She documented her journey, producing a film entitled Life Cycle Project, which premiered at the Banff International Mountain and Book Festival.

Cecily Elmas

Cecily began yoga after stumbling across the Jivamukti Yoga Center in New York City while on a break from her Professional Contemporary Dance Career. She spent the past 20 years exploring different lineages of yoga including Hot Yoga, Kundalini, Dharma, Ashtanga, Baptiste, and Iyengar. Being the first person on the planet to free climb The Nose in Yosemite, which has been considered one of the most momentous moments in climbing history, Lynn has obviously been pushing boundaries that we’ve all benefited from.
